For those who like to work with the Garageband app and would like to export a project to one of the Mac music DAW, the Garageband or Logic Pro, here’s the simplest method to do it. Unlike the Android operating system, Apple does not allow direct transfer of MP3 files from your computer or any other source and to set them as ringtones. This requires that you use the Mail application in OS X as your email client. At the time I needed it, I could not find any guide or video that simply explains how to open a GarageBand iOS project (iPhone/iPad) on Logic Pro or GarageBand. The Mail sharing option lets you export your song from GarageBand and attach it to an email message. After that, open the Garageband app on your iPhone. Go to the toolbar option, click on Share and tap on the Song on iTunes option then export it. Want to move your iOS GarageBand project from your iPad or iPhone to your Mac? The good news is that it’s even easier than ever. Open your Garageband on your desktop, do the same ringtone process as stated above.
